Hockney Class

Welcome to the Hockney class page for Home learning

I shall be setting your learning via the Dojo Portfolio, however this only allows us to load on sheet at a time.

With this in mind any extra resources will be added to this page and you will find a link on the portfolio to bring you here.

Please encourage your children to complete the learning and record in the books school have sent home.  Also feel free to take photos and videos an upload these onto the Dojo Portfolio.  I am really enjoying seeing all the great things that are happening.

Keep safe everyone and lets hope we can all be together again really soon.

Mrs Biucchi

Welcome back to school

I hope that everyone one has enjoyed their half term break.  As before I shall be setting learning on Portfolio, with links to this page.

All learning for this half term can be found at the bottom of this page, so please scroll down.

I look forward to seeing you all back at school as soon as we are able.  In the meantime, stay safe and happy learning.

Mrs Biucchi

Maths challenge week beginning 8th February

Maths - Mrs Biucchi's extra challenge

Well done everyone for completing the maths each day.  For those of you that fancy an extra challenge here are some True or False statements to have a go at.

Firstly, decide if it is TRUE or FALSE.

Next, draw or write why you think this.

You might want to use a STEM sentence:

I know this is false because...

I can show this is true by...

Have a go and remember to post on the portfolio, messages or class story.

Good luck Hockney class.

Mental Health Week

From the 1st February to the 5th of February we shall be thinking about how to keep ourselves mentally healthy.

This years focus is 'expressing yourself'.  We all do this in different ways, I like to bake or go outside and watch the birds in the local area.  Unfortunately some of the things we like to do have be temporarily stooped due to COVID, so we need to find new things that keep us mentally healthy.

We shall be posting activities and helpful websites that you can access at home.  The children in school will be guided through these each afternoon.

Don't forget to send any photos via Dojo.

Take care of your mental health.

Mrs Biucchi
