Choir

The choir meets weekly all year round each Tuesday afterschool to 4pm. There is no limit to the number of pupils in Key Stage 2 who can join. Mr. Hodson leads the school choir and we sing a range of music from musicals, church choir music, songs from the charts and classical music such as Carmina Burana!

 

At Christmas a small group of the choir performed at St. Neots Parish Church, St. Mary the Virgin, for our Christingle service. The acoustics inside the Church were amazing and so different from rehearsing in the school hall each week!

This term we are learning songs from the musical Oliver. We have been working especially hard at some tricky rhythms we must fit the words to, especially in the song Pick a Pocket or Two!

The children are currently learning a range of pieces from the musical Mama Mia as they get ready for a concert at the end of term!
