Writing 

We are currently learning about suffixes -ing, -ed, -er and -est in English. The PowerPoints will help the children understand what suffixes are and how to use them. Please practice using the correct endings on the provided sheets and possibly write some sentences using suffixes.   

Reading 

Please continue to listen to your children read their phonics book or any other books you might have at home. Below is a short story you could use if you would like to. Children can read and answer the questions. 

Spellings 

Please continue to practice our year 1 spelling and high frequency words.

Maths 

Please allow children to access NUMBOTS online to practice their number fluency. The log in information is inside the cover of your child's diary.
