Learning, Achieving, Growing in God's Love
Our school community is centred on the love of God, in His Son, Jesus Christ and strengthened by the Holy Spirit. We will be generous and visible people of Jesus Christ, reaching out in love to all, bringing hope, aspiration, and life in all its fullness to our children.
Hello and welcome to our school website. We hope that it will give you a feel for what life is like at our very special school.
We believe that education, at home and at school, is key to the development and well being of our children. We offer opportunities and experiences in school to develop and extend the child’s appreciation and understanding of the world, developing key skills in English and Mathematics, making sure they are up to date with modern technologies to help them cope with whatever their future may hold. We want all our children to make good progress from whatever their starting point and achieve well.
St. Mary’s is a Church of England primary academy which is part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust. We are a strong, happy community of children, families, staff and governors linked with the Parish Church of St. Mary’s in St. Neots, working together to achieve the very best for everyone in school and the wider community.
St Mary’s CE Primary Academy has a church foundation of which all within the school community are proud to own and keen to see developed further. We have developed a Christian vision for our school, which is encapsulated within the above strapline. From this vision we have formulated a set of aims and values, which will provide a pathway forward for the young people in our care. Our core belief is that every child is unique, made in the image of God and precious in his sight. Therefore, we need to ensure that every child in our care is known and valued for the contribution that they can make to our school. Our duty is to ensure that any barriers to educational achievement are identified, reduced or eliminated, so that each child can flourish and know how to succeed.
Inclusiveness is central to all we do with everyone working together to create a happy, safe and welcoming place to learn.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly if you need any further details or would like to arrange a visit.
